Star Wars characters and vehicles do not decline in popularity not only because there are enthusiastic fans determined to complete and expand their collection, but also because there are children who love to play with the toys. One of these is the Star Wars The Force Awakens 3.75-inch Vehicle Rey’s Speeder Bike, a set that contains Rey and her trusted old salvage speeder.
Rey’s Speeder Bike Review
The speeder bike is just like what one can see in the movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It comes with one missile, which can be conveniently loaded into the cannon and fired by the ship. At a press of a button, the flat top of the ship will lift up, making the gun cannon visible.
A child (preferably above 3 years old) or an adult Star Wars fan must be careful when operating this weapon, as the missile ejects forcefully and rapidly. With a press of the fire button, the top portion will immediately rise and will let go of the missile afterwards. Adult supervision is highly recommended for children playing with this wonderful Star Wars figure.
The intricate details of this speeder showcase the fact that this is a salvage vehicle meant to pick pieces of ship components and other discarded items across the terrain. Some parts of this ship have scrapes and scratches, making it seem like the paint has worn off. In short, the ship is extremely realistic in design by itself.
The side of the ship has a removable net that covers or holds salvaged items, which are designed in full details to the point that they look like separate pieces. Unfortunately, these are mounted to the ship, thus, don’t come off.
Other features of the vehicle include movable fins and molded jet engines.
This Star Wars set comes with Rey, who is featured in the Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens movie. She is dressed in the off-white wrap-style clothing that is loosely draped on her body. She also wears her brown gloves and short black boots. She also has a mummy-style head wrap completely covering her face and a pair of goggles over the wrap.
Unfortunately, this headwear isn’t removable. She also sports a long staff held by her hands. Her arms are not bendable but both her arms and legs are moveable.
The figure is compatible with her speeder in the sense that it can fit securely and well into the vehicle’s seat, even if the unit is turned upside down. It can use the ship’s handlebars for a realistic action game.
