Welcome to our review of the DC Wonder Woman Bow-Wielding Doll, 12″. This Wonder Woman action figure will be popular with young girls as well as DC Comics fans and collectors. This DC Wonder Woman Bow-Wielding Doll is sure to be a red hot Christmas gift idea.
The most common image of Wonder Woman is when we see her wearing her red and blue Super Heroine outfit, wielding her sword and carrying her shield. Before becoming the iconic super heroine with the headdress and boots, Wonder Woman was the Amazonian warrior princess Diana of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta. She is also known by her civilian identity in the world of men, American psychologist Diana Prince.
About Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman has been around since December 1941, first appearing in DC Comics’ All Star Comics #8. Created by psychologist and writer Charles Moulton and artist Harry G. Peter, the goal for them was to create a feminist super hero for both boys and girls to look up to. She was a warrior princess, Princess Diana to her all-female Amazonian people. Although all the women in the land are all great warriors, there is something special about Diana – and later on, she discovers that she is also a demigoddess.
After many years of waiting, audiences were finally treated to a female DC Comics super hero on the big screen. This year, Warner Brothers released Wonder Woman. It was not only a big box-office draw but critics also loved this breakthrough big screen adaptation, which focused on her origin story.
The DC Wonder Woman Bow-Wielding Doll, 12″
The thrilling movie inspired the creation of Wonder Woman dolls. Based on the first ever Wonder Woman live-action feature film, renowned toy maker Mattel released a line of Wonder Woman action figures, including Wonder Woman in her iconic red and blue outfit and Diana Prince in a blue dress and hidden sword doll.
One of the more unusual dolls in the collection is the Bow-Wielding doll. The Bow-Wielding Wonder Woman doll is a 12” deluxe collectible. The best thing about this action figure is that it features an unusual side of the super hero: Princess Diana wearing her beach training outfit, carrying a golden bow and arrow. Princess Diana has her long black hair in braids, wearing a golden training outfit , leather straps, and gladiator sandals. Of course, she’s wearing her bullet-shielding armbands.
This Wonder Woman is battle-ready, carrying an authentic working bow and arrow. Just press the button on her back in order to launch the arrow. There are two arrows provided in the set. This Wonder Woman can train for battle, practice her aim, and defeat her enemies.
The bow-wielding Princess Diana doll has poseable arms and legs, so it is ideal both for action and fashion play. Collectors and Wonder Woman enthusiasts will also appreciate its richly-detailed design.
Here Is My Conclusion
Sper Hero dolls and figures, such as last year’s DC Super Hero Girls Harley Quinn Doll, are always incredibly popular. This Wonder Woman figure should be no different. Big fans of the DC Comics universe, especially of Wonder Woman, would surely want to add this figurine to their collection. Fans will also not be able to resist other characters from the movie from Mattel’s Wonder Woman collection: Queen Hippolyta and Horse and DC Comics Multiverse Wonder Woman Menalippe Figure.

Welcome to our review of the WowWee Elmo Coding Robot–also known as Elmoji. Elmoji is ideal for young children and it should be one of the hottest toys of the Christmas 2017 season.
An alarmingly low percentage of high school students show proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). In fact, only a small percentage of these students are interested in a STEM career in the future. To bridge the growing skills gap, educators have been using robots to introduce students to STEM. Using robots is a great way of engaging students and keeping them interested in STEM. Many schools start introducing them in early grades because the younger the kids start, the better.
Many technology companies and toy manufacturers have introduced STEM-based toys and games in the market in an attempt to make learning these important skills fun and interesting.
WowWee Robotics, a leading designer and developer of consumer robotic toys, such as Chip and entertainment and digital products, and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, have teamed up and are co-developing an Elmo Coding Robot aptly named Elmoji. Elmoji aims to keep young children interested in STEM by teaching children basic programming skills by using the language of visual emojis.
Introducing The WowWee Elmo Coding Robot
During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Elmoji was introduced to the public, and many are predicting that this coding robot will be this year’s hit toy of the holiday season.
During its CES Unveiled debut, WowWee art director Matt Wight mentioned that Elmoji will be available during the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. In fact, the name Elmoji is still not the final name of the product, although it is catchy enough that it just might stick. Elmoji has a red robotic body with two arms and large-wheeled legs. Elmo’s smiling face appears on the robot’s LCD screen head.
Who is Elmoji For?
Elmoji is designed for children three years old and above. Its main goals are to teach young children the very basics of STEM skills, to teach the foundations of coding, and for them to start having a programmatic way of thinking. Its aim is to create a solid foundation that would be a good building block for learning more complicated STEM skills as children grow older.
The word Elmoji is coined from a combination of Elmo and his Emoji friends. Elmoji is also based on Coji, WowWee’s cute robot and app that was introduced last year. Coji teaches children from age 4 and up to program using Emojis. Coji appeals to a range of abilities with different directed activities. It builds key skills such as memory, sequencing, logic, and problem-solving. Elmoji is the Sesame Street-themed version of the robot.
What Makes Elmoji Work?
Elmo is Sesame Street’s most popular character, especially for preschool-aged children. It has been proven in a 2015 study that kids who watch Sesame Street do better in elementary school. The study mentioned further that Sesame Street may be the most affordable and most effective early childhood intervention program.
When Sesame Workshop approached WowWee about a possible collaboration on this project, the start of an ideal partnership was born. Elmoji is the result of this partnership, which brings together Sesame Street’s child-centered philosophy and WowWee’s expertise on child-focused technology.
Elmoji uses Emojis as the programming language. It has a free app that guides early readers and pre-readers in testing their higher-order thinking skills, particularly problem-solving skills. This is done through fun games that control Elmoji’s actions. Some of the fun games featured on the app are Maze Game, Sequence Says, Music Game, and Catching Shapes. As kids play games, Elmoji reacts to stimuli and encourages their progress. Elmoji has various features such as thousands of animations on his LCD screen and dynamic sounds as well. Another fun thing about Elmoji is that it also reacts to tilting and shaking, and other physical stimulation.
Elmoji is the first collaboration between Sesame Workshop and WowWee. With initial feedback being positive, there may be other Sesame Street characters that will be in a robotic form in the future.
Here Is My Conclusion
Fab Christmas Toys heartily recommends the Elmo Coding Robot. Elmoji should be fun for the children and great for parents looking to get their children a head start as they prepare for school. Elmoji is a total win-win.
