Here is a video review of the Love2Learn Elmo toy. Love2Learn Elmo is cute and fun and should be a very popular toy for Christmas 2017.
Mentioning the name Elmo just sends his laugh through my ears. This little red guy has something that makes people smile. Is it because of the memories of watching Sesame Street on rainy afternoons? Either way, Elmo is not new to the scenes. He was introduced into the market in 1972 and it has been a big hit since then.
Do you still remember when Tickle Me Elmo used to be a must-have during Christmas? People would literally fight in the store over the last Tickle Me Elmo. Now, there is Love2Learn Elmo to look forward to and I can assure you that it is going to be something your little ones need this holiday seasons especially if they love Elmo.
I think that it is a good idea to know more about Elmo especially if you are planning to buy the product soon or in the near future and you have not yet made up your mind. Read on to decide whether or not it may be a good idea to buy Elmo for your child. Here we are talking about a new Elmo toy, 20 years since Tickle Elmo was introduced to the market.
Introducing Love2Learn Elmo
We have come to realize that a new signature Elmo doll is introduced to the market every year and no one is complaining about this. However, this year, there is the Love2Learn Elmo and we were lucky to see him during the Toy Fair in New York.
When it comes to a new Elmo doll, you are sure that you will get a lot of positivity: that sweet Elmo voice, beautiful singing and lots of belly rubs. I believe that you have just noticed that Elmo just loves singing. Love2Learn Elmo build on to all of that and now, he is not only an educational toy that teaches children how to use potty or laughs when his tummy is tickled. He is now a helpful assistant!
The Companion App
There is an important app known as companion app that parents can download free of charge on their smartphones or tablets. This is where a lot of value is nesting. This app enables parents to get Elmo-led lessons in many categories including colors, numbers, shapes, letters, foods, and animals.
You can enter your child’s name in the app to let Elmo use the name. This will give the toy a personal touch that your child will love. In the past, a child would feel good when a toy mentioned his or her name.
Apart from the normal school stuff, this product can also help you teach your child life basics. The app has a parent section which enables you to make the Elmo say things related to things such as potty training, brushing teeth, and household chores. It can prompt your child to clean their room or use the bathroom and offer positive reinforcement afterwards. You can control and prompt this from the app.
The also has a lot of bonus educational games that your child will enjoy. For instance, there is one that involves looking for animals in a picture. Again, companion app can connect with Elmo to make the experience more enjoyable with Elmo sitting next to them giving positive feedback and exciting facts.
What Is The Recommended Age Range?
The Playskool Sesame Street Love2Learn Elmo is recommended for kids ages 18 months to 4 years old.
Something To Keep In Mind
Love2Learn Elmo is a wonderful toy, but there are problems. Many reviewers on Amazon.com report defective toys or ones which stop working soon after bringing it home. So, keep that in mind while making your purchasing decision.
Here Is Our Conclusion
In my view, Love2Learn Elmo(Amazon Affiliate Link) is going to be a big hit. One of the best things about Elmo is that it can do and say most of the things that parents would take time to say. In fact, most of the things Elmo says is what children would rather hear from him than hear from their parents.
The things that your child would rather hear from Elmo include potty training, brushing teeth and chores. If getting props from Elmo makes your child help you out and they are happy to do so, then it means that is a major win right there.

There are a variety of great toys that are now being used by teachers and schools alike to help stimulate a child’s mind and build up their motor skills as well as encourage their critical thinking. Fisher-Price has long been a leader in educational toys that will both entertain and teach children. One of these toys is the Think & Learn Teach ‘n Tag Movi. Movi follows along the same tradition as the Bright Beats Beatbo and it is sure to be a popular Christmas 2017 toy.
The Think & Learn Teach ‘N Tag Movi
This adorable robot is fun and exciting with 360 degrees of mobility that will keep kids entertained for hours as they follow their new robot and show off to it by answering the questions that it asks them.
The robot is even able to change facial expressions and has over 60 fun expressions that light up to make it even more exciting. It’s important to use critical thinking skills when a small mind is developing and Movi does just that by helping and prompting the child to follow directions and play together.
Active preschoolers will enjoy the game “Red Light” and Movi also encourages them by telling them when to listen and go.
How Fisher-Price Think & Learn Teach ‘N Tag Movi Will Benefit Your Child
Movi talks about shapes and objects and does the best ever dance moves to get children up, moving and laughing. Dance parties take on a new meaning as the Movi will use various animal voices. Kids will have a great time learning new skills and playing.
The imagination will run wild as children learn new moves, abilities and new thinking patterns with Fisher-Price toys. These toys are designed to encourage children to be creative and use their critical thinking as well as their communication skills and the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Children will have 6 games to learn from and three of them are interactive such as B = Bear, Paws in the air and growl like the bear.
Kids will learn how to answer questions and interact with the program by learning objects and shapes and they’ll get some great exercise as they play and follow the directions to jump, skip, hop, walk keep on moving till I say stop.
It’s ideal for the preschooler who is bored when brother or sister goes to school and needs some interaction to get them ready for kindergarten. It’s an ideal way for them to learn important skills in a fun and entertaining way for their future education and physical strength.
At Fisher-Price, they understand that children and games just go together. It’s fun and a great way to keep their attention. It’s fun and competitive and they learn to participate in group activities before they ever get to school.
It is often used in preschools and challenges children to learn in a fun and exciting way so that they build up their motor skills and their physical skills as well as their critical thinking. Children will love this and so will teachers and parents.
Not all toys are meant only for play; there are also some that are meant to educate, honing children’s thinking and problem solving skills. Like the Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar. The most recent model in Fisher Price’s range of Think & Learn, Code-a-pillar will allow your kid to experiment and study a selection of skills. It is made of motorized caterpillar head with blinking eyes and sounds. It has eight segments that are linked together and moving in diverse paths. With a couple of destination targets, it’s the goal of the code-a-pillar to reach these targets.
You can add more segments on the caterpillar educational toy; it’s not something that you must have, but it’s something that can make for nice additions.

Who Should Buy The Code-a-pillar?
Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar is suitable for children, both girls and boys, with ages three to six years old. But, even younger and older kids can have fun playing and learning with it.
Why We Like The Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar
Below are the reasons:
- Your child can play with it soon as it is out of the package as it already includes batteries.
- The child will grow with the toy. Initially, the sounds, lights and the crawling ability of the caterpillar toy will appeal to the kid. After a year or two, the puzzle and the problem solving features will become the focus of the child’s interest.
- The Code-a-pillar glows and lights up in various colors that even if the surroundings gets already dark, playing becomes more fun.
What We Did Not Like About The Code-a-pillar
Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar is not appropriate for a small apartment or for a home or room that’s full of clutter because it requires a fair amount of space to be able to roam around. A hardwood flooring is also recommended or a thin carpet. If you have an empty garage, it’s fortunate as your kid will be able to play with it fully.
Another reason for you not to want it is its fairly loud sound that may irritate you, especially if your child will keep playing on it. Sorry; there’s no volume control.
How Much Is The Code-a-pillar?
This Fisher Price toy is currently priced at $50 and the add-on segments are sold at $4.99 each.
Is It A Worthy Buy?
Fisher-Price Think & Learn Code-a-pillar is a great buy at $50. With the kid playing with it and learning from it, you will love this toy so much. However, it may use up a lot of batteries; be prepared for this. You can read reviews about Code-a-pillar at Amazon.

Welcome to our review of the WowWee Elmo Coding Robot–also known as Elmoji. Elmoji is ideal for young children and it should be one of the hottest toys of the Christmas 2017 season.
An alarmingly low percentage of high school students show proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). In fact, only a small percentage of these students are interested in a STEM career in the future. To bridge the growing skills gap, educators have been using robots to introduce students to STEM. Using robots is a great way of engaging students and keeping them interested in STEM. Many schools start introducing them in early grades because the younger the kids start, the better.
Many technology companies and toy manufacturers have introduced STEM-based toys and games in the market in an attempt to make learning these important skills fun and interesting.
WowWee Robotics, a leading designer and developer of consumer robotic toys, such as Chip and entertainment and digital products, and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, have teamed up and are co-developing an Elmo Coding Robot aptly named Elmoji. Elmoji aims to keep young children interested in STEM by teaching children basic programming skills by using the language of visual emojis.
Introducing The WowWee Elmoji Junior Coding Robot
During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Elmoji was introduced to the public, and many are predicting that this coding robot will be this year’s hit toy of the holiday season.
During its CES Unveiled debut, WowWee art director Matt Wight mentioned that Elmoji will be available during the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. In fact, the name Elmoji is still not the final name of the product, although it is catchy enough that it just might stick. Elmoji has a red robotic body with two arms and large-wheeled legs. Elmo’s smiling face appears on the robot’s LCD screen head.
Who is Elmoji For?
Elmoji is designed for children three years old and above. Its main goals are to teach young children the very basics of STEM skills, to teach the foundations of coding, and for them to start having a programmatic way of thinking. Its aim is to create a solid foundation that would be a good building block for learning more complicated STEM skills as children grow older.
The word Elmoji is coined from a combination of Elmo and his Emoji friends. Elmoji is also based on Coji, WowWee’s cute robot and app that was introduced last year. Coji teaches children from age 4 and up to program using Emojis. Coji appeals to a range of abilities with different directed activities. It builds key skills such as memory, sequencing, logic, and problem-solving. Elmoji is the Sesame Street-themed version of the robot.
What Makes Elmoji Work?
Elmo is Sesame Street’s most popular character, especially for preschool-aged children. It has been proven in a 2015 study that kids who watch Sesame Street do better in elementary school. The study mentioned further that Sesame Street may be the most affordable and most effective early childhood intervention program.
When Sesame Workshop approached WowWee about a possible collaboration on this project, the start of an ideal partnership was born. Elmoji is the result of this partnership, which brings together Sesame Street’s child-centered philosophy and WowWee’s expertise on child-focused technology.
Elmoji uses Emojis as the programming language. It has a free app that guides early readers and pre-readers in testing their higher-order thinking skills, particularly problem-solving skills. This is done through fun games that control Elmoji’s actions. Some of the fun games featured on the app are Maze Game, Sequence Says, Music Game, and Catching Shapes. As kids play games, Elmoji reacts to stimuli and encourages their progress. Elmoji has various features such as thousands of animations on his LCD screen and dynamic sounds as well. Another fun thing about Elmoji is that it also reacts to tilting and shaking, and other physical stimulation.
Elmoji is the first collaboration between Sesame Workshop and WowWee. With initial feedback being positive, there may be other Sesame Street characters that will be in a robotic form in the future.
Here Is My Conclusion
Fab Christmas Toys heartily recommends the Elmo Coding Robot. Elmoji should be fun for the children and great for parents looking to get their children a head start as they prepare for school. Elmoji is a total win-win.
